Do your tours include international airfare?
Can I book a tour excluding hotel with you?
Based on your specific requirements, our tours will or will not include international airfare. If you book with us, we would be happy to help you obtain the best deal from international airlines. Just ask for an air quote when making your booking.
How far ahead of time do I need to book a tour?
Normally, when a customer books a tour with us, we will arrange all services including: transportation, hotel, meals, tour guide, etc. However, if you can book hotel by yourself, we are glad to serve the remaining services.
Do you help with visas?
Although last minute bookings can be accepted (subject to availability), we recommend that you book your tour(s) at least 4 weeks ahead of your desired tour date in high season. For last minute bookings, please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at +84 934 532 972 to check on availability.
What payment methods do you accept?
ACI Travel can assist you in consulting and preparing necessary documents for visa application. However, we are not liable for any failure of your visa issuance. You also can do this through the embassy or with the support of a travel agent.
I am a solo traveler? Can I still book your tours?
Currently we accept 3 payment methods: Paypal, cash and wire transfer (bank transfer).
Payments using Paypal is considered to be the quickest way to secure your booking.
If you choose to pay in cash, please make sure that your bills are in good condition, without any tears or makings on them.
Wire Transfer (Bank transfer) is the cheapest way for payment, so for big amount of money, we recommend you to pay through bank transfer in order to save the surcharge of money transferring. After you issue the payment in the bank, please keep the receipt and send us the scan copy via email.
Once we receive your payment, our travel consultant will notice you by email and final confirm the tour for you.
Are your tours kid friendly?
Definitely! We are tailor-made tourist company so we serve all kinds of customer’s needs. We welcome bookings for solo travelers, couples, family and groups. This is the beauty of our style of travel: you do not need to wait until the seat in couch is full. We want you to have personal attention from our local guides so we do not group strangers as other tour companies still do.
Does ACI Travel have family trips?
Yes, absolutely. We design our tours to be suitable for guest of all ages, and take children on our tours regularly. Parents trust us to offer the safest possible experience for their children because our drivers are the best in the business.
How many people will be on my trip?
Sure. We specialize in family tours in Indochina. We will try our best to ensure that the included activities suit all age range.
If I got sick during the tour, can I get refund on the service or activities which I did not participate in?
You don’t have to worry about the group size of your tour because we tailor your trip personally. This means you have the freedom to move around and get involved with your surroundings, as well as more personal attention from our local guides. This way, we don't overwhelm the destination and you're able to have a real experience and immerse yourself in the local environment.
What should I wear or bring when I go on a tour?
Based on our Booking Conditions, we do not make refunds if customer cancels during the trip. However, in certain circumstances, we will try our best to negotiate with our suppliers to have the best refund for you. Please consult with your travel advisor.
I have special dietary requirements – will they be catered for?
You should wear comfortable clothes based on the weather of the place you visit. For example Saigon is usually hot, people should wear thin clothes (T-shirts, skirts, shorts, etc.). As a precaution, please take care of your belongings (either keep your personal items at your hotel or bring it along while sightseeing) because we shall not be responsible for any personal valuable items stolen or lost during your trip.
I am arriving by cruise ship. Can you pick me up at the port?
We can cater for dietary requirements on most tours, provided you advise us in advance. When you book your trip, please make a note that you need a modified menu or have allergies for certain food. Our leaders will do everything in their power to ensure your needs are met. Please note, though, that in some destinations there may be limited or no options for dietary needs. It is also a great idea to bring a card with your dietary requirements written in the local language for those times you are eating away from our tour.
Which style of trip is right for me?
Sure, we offer pick up/drop-off service so please send us a request about your meeting point for the start of your tours.
Can I just do part of the trip?
We provide three styles of travel – Budget, Mid-range and Luxury. To find out which one suits you, visit our trip styles page.
Do I need travel insurance?
Although you won’t be reimbursed for any portion of the trip unused, you can opt to sign off the trip if you need to leave a day or if you don’t wish to participate in any activities. Our team on the ground will do the best to accommodate your requirements. However, in any cases, please inform us about your own plan as soon as possible before the trips end.
What are the medical and vaccination requirements?
ACI Travel is an inbound agency and we do not take care of travel insurance. However, we strongly recommend that you have purchased full coverage travel insurances before leaving your mother country to cover a wide range of unexpected loss and damages.
Will I get internet coverage?
Medical and vaccination requirements differ between nations and as we are not medical practitioners, we unfortunately cannot advise on this issue. Please see your local GP or travel doctor for details and advice about current vaccination requirements.
Must I tip your local guides?
Some places have Wi-Fi hot spots everywhere and other places will have no coverage at all. Therefore we cannot guarantee you can access Internet all the time.
Do I need to take my booking confirmation on my tour?
At the end of your trip, if you're happy with the service you received, providing a tip for the leader - though not compulsory - is appropriate. While it may not be customary to you, it's of great significance to the people who will take care of you during your travels, inspires excellent service, and is an entrenched feature of the tourism industry across many destinations.
Can I share my experience and photos with ACI Travel after my trip?
No, it’s not necessary to present your booking confirmation to our guide at the beginning of your trip. However, you may bring the tour itinerary/program either in hardcopy or in electronic version on your smartphone so you can check where you are heading to and what kinds of activities you are expected to take part in.
