Hanoi Cooking class & Half day City (B, L)
Early in the morning, get up and take a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake to breathe the fresh air and enjoy a Tai Chi lesson with local people. Taste a traditional Vietnamese breakfast (Pho) at a restaurant. After breakfast, prepare yourself to get immersed into a real Vietnam culinary tour. A half day cooking tour in Hanoi will include both a hands-on lesson on how to buy ingredients and cook authentic Vietnamese food like locals. Start from the cooking centre and walk to the market where you can see the plentiful fresh ingredients from vegetables, herbs, spices and many kinds of meat. Back to the cooking centre and learn how to combine materials in a Vietnamese dish by an experienced chef. End the cooking class, you can enjoy your creations with a local beer. In the afternoon, you will explore a half day tour of Hanoi with highlights such as: Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One pillar pagoda, Uncle Ho’s stilts house, Women Museum. We will leave Hanoi and head out to Halong Bay (approx 4 hours), stopping for refreshments en route. You will have a chance to explore how to make ceramic pottery. 12:pm, you will reach Halong Bay. The boarding time is 12:15pm. You will get on board, listen the briefing itinerary before check in. Enjoy a sumptuous seafood lunch while your junk boat cruises to the famous islands of Halong Bay. Stopover to visit a beautiful cave and then you can swim or explore the stunning beauty of the bay by a kayak. Wake up early morning to see the spectacular sunrise over the bay and do Tai Chi exercise on sundeck.
